It's a fact of parenting. No matter what the commercials say, all diapers leak at some point. And all kids will wet their bed at some point, probably at many points, in their life. Here's a quick tip that allows you to quickly change their bed sheets during those late night potty emergencies.

Buy a nice stock of rubber sheets. Make sure to invest in the kind that will fit the entire length of the mattress, this will come in handy as they grow into bigger beds. At home grab three rubber sheets and three bed sheets.

Now just layer. rubber sheet first then regular sheet, then another rubber sheet followed by another regular sheet. Add one more rubber sheet and regular sheet for three layers total. You can add more if you want, but I find any more than three layers can be hard to fit on the mattress.

Now in the middle of the night, if your child has an accident all you have to do is strip the dirty layer off. There will be a fresh sheet underneath. Allowing you to put your child right back in bed after they are cleaned up.

No more changing bed sheets (an incredibly difficult chore at three in the morning) during a late night potty crisis!
